AMINA’S STORY: Three years ago Amina Massood Janjua prepared breakfast for her husband, a well-liked businessman who ran a college in Rawalpindi in Pakistan. She kissed him goodbye….and she never saw him again. He became one of the many people who have disappeared in Pakistan. Amina tells Jonathan about her efforts to find her husband.
DISAPPEARED IN PAKISTAN: After the attacks on 9/11, the U.S. government recruited Pakistan as an ally in an efforts to round-up suspected terrorists. Since that time, Sohail Warraich of Amnesty International says hundreds, possibly thousands of people have been “disappeared”.
