Piece Description

Jade O'Neil was never particularly interested in politics before this year, but was inspired by Barack Obama's message of change. In February, she took this message with her to her local caucus in West Seattle. An impromptu speech got Jade elected as the precinct delegate and took her all the way to Spokane, Washington for the State Convention. All this at only seventeen years old. Elena Degel has more in this interview with Jade.
