When the Deal Goes Down Show 9
I enjoyed Show 9 mainly because of this last song. It is my favorite, although I don't believe in a religious god, I can see Dylan's God in it. I see it as love of a lover or friend. I recited the second verse at my sister's funeral and my wife cries everytime she hears the song.
Your work is great and a bit scary too.
Has Dylan ever commented on it?
I will write again when I finish all shows, but thanks, it means a lot.
