Piece Description
"Again" came about when, a few years ago, playwright Charles Moster posed the question, "If you could do it over again, what's the one thing you would change?" to a group of senior citizens he met with at an assisted living facility. Their responses and their life stories proved to be variously touching, funny, charming, thought-provoking, and deeply moving and they provided him with the basic building blocks of the play that emerged. Because Charles Moster is not only a playwright but an award-winning popular song writer as well, he then developed "period" music in the styles of the 1950s and '60s as the signature pieces for each of the fourteen characters in the play.
