Piece Description
Guitarist Vernon Reid, scratcher DJ Logic (Jason Kibler) and singer Taylor McFerrin are the Yohimbe Brothers. Elements of their music are rock, jazz, hip-hop, electronic dance and ambient sounds. Despite this profusion of styles, the music is coherent and convincing. Sax man Benjamin Herman returns to European Jazz Stage with a swinging set from his quartet with Carlo D?Wys on Hammond B3, Jesse van Ruller on guitar and Martijn Vink on drums. The beat goes on. Daniel Frankl hosts.
