Why do they send us countless junk mails that nobody ever reads? Because from time to time there is a headline there that grabs our eye and we read it. The headline that suckered me in was The 10 Worst Foods You Can Eat. You know that I am not a health food nut. I?m sure I eat many bad things --- although --- you have heard me say that since gaining 6 pounds four years ago at the Public Radio Program Managers Convention in San Antonio, I have not had ice cream. I have not had sausages or bacon. I have not had donuts or cake or pie or cookies or banana bread. As a result, I lost 15 pounds. But now --- here are the 10 worst foods you can eat and because I saw it in print you know it must be true. Donuts, Sausages, Fried Chicken --- already long gone on my list.
