Well now, there's every indication that that future has arrived. Brazil boasts the world's tenth-largest economy and is the darling of Wall Street investors. Brazil is also the world's largest exporter of soybeans, coffee, sugar, and much more. Simon Marks traveled 90 minutes outside Sao Paulo to the headquarters of Embraer, one of Brazil's most successful businesses, to get a first-hand look at how Brazil's taking off, literally. Simon Marks' report, released in June 2008, is part of the documentary special "Brazil Rising" produced by the Stanley Foundation, KQED Public Radio, and KUT Austin.
