One way to deal with the death of a parent or friend is to cling to the objects we associated with their lives. Dana Gifford's father was a commercial artist, so it is not surprising that the memory of his dad is tied to the drawings, paintings, and sculptures he left behind when he died. But among his dad's work is a collection of secret art: boxes of illustrations that were always kept private, hidden in the back of a closet. Dana has long puzzled over what to do with his father's secret drawings, and after ten years he has finally figured out a way to bring them into the light.
