Piece Description

Everyones concerned these days with love. Finding the "right one" a true love that will last forever. Sometimes those things can happen with the unexpected...like the time Shelby, a young mermaid drifts too far from home and gets captured in a net by a fisherman named Jasper. Part One focuses on how two people can fall madly in love even when their individual lives are worlds apart in terms of who or what they may be. Shelby has a sister named Tina and the girls live together in an underwater kelp castle. Shelby is love struck by the fisherman who set her free and her sister thinks she needs to just forget about the incident and learn to be more careful. Jasper in turn can't concentrate on anything anymore except the lovely young mermaid and this leads him to giving up his fishing life, for a life as a Land-Lubber when he realizes he will never see his love Shelby again. A love never meant to be? Time will tell.....stay tuned for Part Two.
