Virginia Red Sox Fans Celebrate (longer version)
From: Charlottesville Podcasting Network
Length: 06:51
The World Series victory of the Boston Red Sox ended an eighty-six old drought for the team and for millions of the team’s fans. A small contingent of Red sox Nation descended upon the Southern Inn in Downtown Lexington to watch game four. This story starts with the voice of a man born in 1918 and follows one group of people as they explain the curse, and then watch it drift away into history. This piece is pretty much only available for 10/28/04, but anyone who wanted to use it later could contact me and I can take out any dated references.
