This hour of electric music came from an Era that began more than 40 years ago. This development in music had more to do with the personal aim of authentic identity, and a rediscovery of community values than with 'marketed for profit' entertainment sold by old men in green see-through visors in Hollywood. ' The Stone Age ' presents the Sounds of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, The Mothers of Invention, Laura Nyro, The Allman Brothers and others less well known such as Linn County, and The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Their work survives today because it is still alive...Each program in the Series is 59 minutes in length, and can be aired individually, or as an episode in a 13 week Series or longer. (There are 133 programs in this Series) Playlists are included for each program.
