Piece Description

Music was the symbol of a new world emerging during the 60's and 70's. Listeners will hear music that still plays well today and that explained the times much more authentically than most literature. "The Stone Age" presents the music of The Beatles, The Steve Miller Band, the Rolling Stones, The Sir Douglas Quintet from Texas, Crosby, Stills and Nash and others. This is an hour of music that rocks, without a lot of talk or analysis. Each program in the Series is 59 minutes in length, and can be aired individually, or as an episode in a 13 week Series or longer. (There are 123 programs in this Series) Playlists are included for each program. All programs available here on PRX are new, original shows, produced from scratch, and designed especially for distribution. Go to www.bigislandradio.com for information with links, and graphics.
