Piece Description
Perfect for Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Veteran's Day Elizabeth Richardson was a smart, feisty, articulate woman who served as an American Red Cross volunteer in a Clubmobile unit in England and France during World War II. She helped raise the morale of homesick solders by serving up doughnuts, dancing, and good cheer. This report features an interview with author James Madison, a professional actress reading Liz Richardson's letters and diary entries, and period music and sound effects.
