Description:

Geoengineering

Global warming is happening, and our fossil fuel emissions are higher than ever. By the time we get around to cutting greenhouse gases, it might still be too late to avert a climate catastrophe. That's why Canadian scientist Dr. David Keith thinks it might be time to start thinking about how we could use technology to change the climate with Geoengineering - engineering the Earth. Whether it's with mirrors in space or putting reflective particles in the upper atmosphere, we might find ways to deflect some of the Sun's light and cool our overheated planet. Is this a good idea - or even an idea we should be thinking about?

Plus we look into the chimpanzee's risky business. And here's your brain on jazz.
