Description:

Wyoming lawmakers are hammering out legislation to regulate a process called "carbon capture and sequestration." That's where coal power plants "capture" their carbon dioxide pollution before emitting it into the air, then "sequester" it, or lock it underground. Forever. This type of technology would help clean up coal, but it will take more than legislation for it to be widely used.
