I recorded this piece at Lincoln Park, a video slot gambling casino and greyhound racetrack in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Most of the people I talked to came to play the slots several times a week. I was mesmerised by all of the sounds coming out of the machines around me, so thick and rich it was like swimming in them. Like an arcade, but for adults, and it costs more money.
