I'm in the tea section of my neighborhood Trader Joe's in Silverlake. I?m looking for my favorite chai tea. And it's not here. They have black mango, raspberry infused and blueberry green teas, but my Indian Masala chai in the red box is gone. One of the managers here told me a few months ago it was discontinued, but I'm having a hard time accepting that, so each time I go back, I check again. It was the best chai I've ever had. I used to drink it every single morning. Now I'm not sure how to start my day.

My best friend Lark Cobb has been burned twice. She's still mourning a taqueria salsa they discontinued three years ago. And on top of that, she, too, misses the Indian Masala chai.
