Piece Description
Earthworm, a recent college graduate and full-time dumpster-diver, lives off of what so many of us unknowingly waste. We follow her through a supermarket dumpster, and also to the trash of a local college in order to celebrate "Hippie Christmas," where she and her friends recover thrown-away goods from students leaving school for the summer. We also join her at Food Not Bombs, a collective of individuals who feed the homeless with the dumpstered food. Earthworm and her boyfriend, Marlon, impart a few messages about American consumer culture along the way.
