Christmas Eve 2007
From time to time you can still see a bumper Sticker which always brings a smile and makes me think to myself, Yes, that?s right. It is the one that says,
?Practice Random Acts of Kindness.?
Here we are, the day before Christmas, and right at the heart of the ?silly season.? A man to man ?beep beep you? cuts across the parking lot of the Village shopping center in Corte Madera. A woman takes time to look up from her cell phone and catch my eye and we laugh a ?Merry Christmas to you,? at each other to make up for the karma of such testosterone rudeness.
I began to think about some of the other random acts that make us smile, every day that we see them. It seems they are often the silent guerilla acts of art that elves of all seasons put about the county and the country.
