Lede:
As excitement builds in Eugene, Oregon about the 2008 Olympic Trials, so does the stigma surrounding United States Track and Field. In October, Marion Jones, once the face of her sport, admitted to a federal judge she she used performance-enhancing drugs at the peak of her career. In a sport based on pushing the body to its physical limits, some athletes are blurring the line between natural and unnatural performance by turning to dangerous, new-age steroids, some undetectable through modern drug testing. KLCC's Andrew Bartholomew examines the steroid controversy - and what impact it will have on Eugene when the trials roll into "Track Town."
