This fall, the Third Coast Festival brings the best new documentaries produced worldwide to the national airwaves in a special two-hour program called the "2007 Third Coast Festival Broadcast" (TCF).

The featured documentaries, all winners of the seventh annual TCF/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition, represent radio at its finest: moving, insightful, surprising and sometimes even life changing. Alongside the winning documentaries, the broadcast includes a profile of the year's Audio Luminary Award winner, behind-the-scenes producer interviews and highlights from the Awards Ceremony emceed by Peter Sagal.

Gwen Macsai hosts this special program, joining an impressive list of public radio stars who have hosted earlier TCF broadcasts: Ira Glass (2001), Robert Krulwich (2002), John Hockenberry (2003) Jay Allison (2004) and Barbara Bogaev (2005).
