Crusts_small In Australia, when someone asks "What do you do for a Crust?" They are asking what you do for a living, your job, your profession. Our Series "Crusts", provides vignettes from people around the world, looking at what they do, why they love doing it, and how, if you are interested in this profession, you can get into it too. Our guest for this installment in the series is Peter Sharer who is an Orbital Engineer, or better known in the aerospace business as a Mission Designer, for the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. It is Peter's job to calculate the Orbit of a satellite and give those results to the people who fire off the Rocket. I caught up with Peter in his tiny office at JPL. You can also listen in to a subsequent Interview I did with Peter on the STEREO project that he was working on, as he better explains what an Orbit is and how unique some of them really are at the following PRX website. http://www.prx.org/series/11540
