Dollar Storeys is a public audio project that invites producers, artists, writers and radio fans of all experience levels to submit finished audio stories clearly based on one of three specific dollar store items (bike bell, mouse traps, mug with feminist quote) and lasting 2:30 ? 3:00 (min) in length.
For ideas, I called a random assorment of peple in a Detroit phonebook, hoping they had something to say about the items.

Review of I've Got A Question For You (Dollar Story)I loved this piece- the overlay of dial tones, voices and conversations, kinda like a walk through the dollar store |

The things we do for radio!
What about the feminist mug? I want one! Used to work as a telemarketer. Ah, yes: the cold call. This is tight editing and mixing. To quote Homer Simpson, "It's funny, 'cause it's true!"
Whoever came up with the concept of Dollar Stories, I'm jealous!
