Piece Description
Registered Nurse, Barbara Turning teams up with Tuft's University yoga philosophy professor, Ravi Nathwani to create a lighthearted yoga segment: Analysis is Paralysis!
In this piece we use storytelling to reflect on common issues in everyday life: desire, not getting what you want, and how this perpetuates suffering. It's an unusual format, but demonstrates the use of levity to get to root cause.
Statistics indicate that there are over 2 million yoga practioners statewide, and growing. However, if you're a practioner taking yoga seriously, this lighthearted segment is for you.
Or~ if you're suffering from repeated, uncomfortable situations, listen to this segment may lighten the load.
Intended to offer yoga practioners and those who pursue good health habits, a perspective which facilitates the lighter side of getting healthy.
Here, we examines social discomfort, sometimes seen as "suffering". Dick Private, Detective lives a noire life. We hope to bring light into that noire (dark).
Entertaining and informational(written by BK Turning and Kevin McCord). How to get off the treadmill or the samsara of life. Asana prescriptions for anger included. Sax music bed outro 2:14. for radio hosts.

Running sample of a noire piece interspersed with Ravi's commentary on the perpetuation of suffering...
We simply want (a glass of water? more money? a different woman?). And when we don't get what we want, we can throw a fit, and thus begin the cycle of suffering.
What asana would help a person like this get off the treadmill of suffering? The child's pose.
Tag outro with a fact about yoga in the USA, with credits.
Tone: Informative, fun and lighthearted.
