Piece Description
This one-hour documentary features the combat and home-front stories of 13 Kentuckians from across the Commonwealth. Their interviews are interwoven with period radio broadcasts and music to give listeners today a deeply textured sense of what life was like in the state during the war years. Long-time Courier-Journal columnist Byron Crawford hosts the program (although most of the hour is carried by the interviewees).
