I met up with Marcia after she played 2 soulful sets at the BBQ on the lawn gig on a beautiful sunny afternoon at Rancho Nicasio in Northern California. We talked in the cottage behind the club while her band toked up in the room next to us - that's some of the background whooping noises you can hear. She was passionate about the need for rebuilding in New Orleans and government's egregious lack of response. And - well - you can just listen and hear what she says....
