Piece Description
It's been six years since the 9/11attacks and many folks in New York and no doubt across the country are wondering -- what's up in Lower Manhattan? The August fire at the former Deutsche Bank Building that killed two firefighters put the area back in the headlines, but probably sparked more questions than answers. In this half-hour special, host George Bodarky talks with two people who work closely in the redevelopment of Lower Manhattan -- New York City Councilman Alan Gerson and Community Board One Vice Chair Catherine McVay Hughes.
