Default-piece-image-1 Located on 115 acres near Saugatuck, Michigan, Ox-Bow was founded in 1910 by artists affiliated with the Art Institute of Chicago. Officially, Ox-Bow is a summer school dedicated to the teaching and learning about art, where professional faculty and visiting artists teach a variety of classes between June and August. Anyone who has been to Ox-Bow knows it as much more. It is a strange mix of a haven, a school, a summer camp for adults, and a resort. It is a place where artists - both teachers and students - go to be renewed by being part of a community dedicated to art and learning. Radio producer M.
