Summary: Richard Goldman, an L.A. musician, writer and fan, details why Paul matters in this program of commentary and music. Goldman's disappointment with McCartney's recent solo work has been somewhat lifted by Sir Paul's 2007 release.
This is a good overview of what makes Paul McCartney such aa special talent. Although I disagree with guest Richard Goldman on the merits of McCartney's "Memory Almost Full" album (it was no revelation to me as Paul has been on firm musical ground since the early 90's) I welcomed this long overdue look at his songwriting.
