Goldman admits to his ambivalence about Sir Paul's more recent material suggesting that the artist may be trapped by his past - trying so hard not to repeat himself and always being judged by his remarkable early work. His disappointment was somewhat lifted by McCartney's 2007 release "Memory Almost Full."
