John Edwards is on his second campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination. He has a stump speech about the 'two Americas': the rich, and the working class. He has a foot in both worlds, and he visited loyalists from each in Seattle on May 1, 2007.
Edwards heard stories and took questions from union members at the Aerospace Machinists Hall in South Seattle in an event organized by the AFL-CIO. Then he headed up to the Sheraton Hotel for a Washington State Trial Lawyers' banquet. Edwards tells both the trial lawyers and the union members he's proud of them. He also lays out his campaign platform.
