At the Living Museum, on the campus of the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in Queens Village, New York, people with mental illness are redefining themselves through their artwork. In this half-hour special, we speak with some experts in the mental health field, including the museum's director, who believes the Living Musuem is an experimental model that can change not only the mental health system, but society as well. We also follow the Living Museum's artists to two art shows, where we explore the reception of their artwork.

Review of The Beauty of Madness: The Art of the Mentally Ill
It is really great!!! I know this place, LIVING MUSEUM in Queens Village, NYC. I have known Dr. Marton for many years now and I have even befriended some of the artists. Living Museum is a fantastic, creative, stressfree and unusual place where art and humanity are very important. I support this idea, place and artists very much because the Living Museum and its spirit are really necessary in this world. Thank you for the informative report! I hope many others will hear it!!
