Piece Description
An audio play based on the life and spirit of Annie Oakley (third of three) A fictional audio play based on Annie Oakley's days at Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, and what may have happened if she were interviewed by an up and coming newspaper reporter. It takes place right after the Spanish American War. That war has now been historically chronicled as a "made up war" heightened by the yellow journalism of the day. That question is not the subject of this story, but it does concern her. Performed in front of a studio audience in April and May of 2004 Suitable for: March - Women's History Month August - Annie Oakley's Birthday
