Review of What Makes You Happy? The concept of "What Makes You Happy" is intriguing. Everyone has a different answer to the question. Although it is interesting to hear all these aspects, the piece could have been a bit more structured and complex, rather than being solely composed of vox pops. |

Review of What Makes You Happy?
this made me happy. im from a small town in vermont too. such an obvious question but it makes people stop and think. i fell in love with this girl- "if its been a bad day, anything does".
this piece has a lot of heart. we all know good radio/writing connects you with others. seeing yourself in their loves and, yes, worries. finding an apartment. staying in good health.
so yes it is a fluffy feel good piece. but also interesting. how would you answer? always that mild self concious presure to portray oneself in a good light. im a good person, honest. "i like to help people". or dodge it with a joke. but then.. then theres the girl who says i dont know, thinks about herself, and speaks honestly.
