The Canadians are getting ready to ban the Thomas Edison light bulb. Volunteer groups are prepping citizens by handing out the compact fluorescent light bulb to try out. It uses much less energy. The environmentalists are hoping switching light bulbs might get people thinking about making other changes that will help the environment.
