Transcript for the Piece Audio version of Texas Delegate Diary: Nick Lawrie and Karl-Thomas Musselman Day 1

This week, more than 200 delegates are representing Texas Democrats at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. According to an Associated Press poll, 67 percent of the delegates are first-timers. This week, we’ll be hearing from two of them. Nick Lawrie (LOW-ree) is from Austin and he’s representing Travis County. At age nineteen, Karl-Thomas Musselman is the youngest conventioneer. He’s representing the Hill County. Both were inspired to get involved in politics by the candidacy of Howard Dean… and Today, both men share their thoughts about what it’s like being at the national convention.
