Timing and Cues

Theme parties have been a staple of college life for decades, but today the Internet is sharing photographic evidence with the world beyond campus walls. In recent months, images of parties where white students dressed up as minority stereotypes have spurred controversy at big-name schools like Johns Hopkins, Georgetown and Clemson. Some call the parties satirical, others say they're racist. But when one party goer sat down with Next Generation Radio's Jason Kane, she said the reality is far more complicated than either label.
