April Fools? Day
I?m for making April Fools? Day a national holiday. I think we should take one day a year to commemorate all the foolishness we have to put up with the other 364.
For example, why do we pay doctors whether or not they cure your illness? We pay real estate agents only if they achieve positive results. Why not pay physicians the same way? I?d at least like to see them offer money-back guarantees. If hardware stores can do it, so can hospitals.
Another example is jogging every morning to keep fit, while using cars, machines, electronic devices, power tools, remote controls and subservient people the rest of the day to get as little exercise as possible.
One more example is wearing ties and jackets when it?s 75 degrees, then turning on the air conditioner to get comfortable.
And how about getting two weeks summer vaca...
