Host: Growing up in Washington, D.C., Randy Grim would escape the verbal abuse of his military father, by sneaking out to feed cats living in the sewer behind his house.
Later on, working as an airline steward he would smuggle stray's back to the US from places like Istanbul or Bangkok.
After quitting his job with the airline and moving to St. Louis Randy quickly realized he didn't have to go all the way to Turkey to find animals needing help.
