Memories producer and host, Bernadette Cahill wrote to women all over early in 2006 asking for suggestions of "women's protest songs" for International Women's Day (March 8 every year). Correspondents loved the idea, and the overwhelming response resulted in two 59-minute editions of "Memories" devoted to songs written, performed and chosen by women. This show is an updated version for 2007 of the second of those two editions of "Memories" from 2006 -- the one of the two that includes commentary on the women's movement.
