This is the story of how Stanford professors worked with Hope House, a local drug and alcohol recovery center, to bring liberal arts to the women residents (many of whom had not finished high school). Through interviews and recordings of philosophy class sessions, the documentary examines four aspects of the program:
Part 1 Bringing Stanford to Hope House (7:09)
Part 2 Challenges and Frustrations (9:58)
Part 3 What the Students Bring (7:24)
Part 4 What the Students Take Away (11:21)
