POWDER RIVER. Season 1. Episode 15: THUNDER ON THE RIVER
Series: POWDER RIVER Season 1.
From: Jerry Robbins
Length: 00:25:03
Join former lawman turned rancher Britt MacMasters and his son Chad as they begin a new life for themselves in Clearmont, Wyoming ... but Britt's past returns to haunt him, as one of the toughest outlaw gangs in the west is headed towards Clearmont for revenge!
Originally intended as a 15 episode mini-series, the popularity of this show encouraged CRT to continue production. POWDER RIVER now has a total of 60 half hour episodes available for broadcast.
Powder River is performed in the style of a classic old time radio show, not dissimilar to the Six Shooter and Gunsmoke, but the production quality is very much in the 21st century with crystal clear stereo sound, thousands of sound effects, and a completely original music score.

Review of POWDER RIVER. Season 1. Episode 15: THUNDER ON THE RIVER
In the concluding episode of Season 1 of POWDER RIVER, Britt has to deal with a surprising betrayal that endangers both him and his son, Chad. Caught unprepared, Britt has to find a way to save himself, his son and a friend from the danger that lurked unknown for some time. All this personal tension is made all the more dramatic when the forces of nature are unleashed on the ranch and escape becomes essential for survival. This dramatic episode is well done with incredile soud effects and great musical effects to highten the emotional nature of this story. A great western audio play done in the style of the 1950's. Nostalgic and touching.
