Review of POWDER RIVER. Season 1. Episode 12: THE WINE OF LIFE

This well done western, patterned after the radio dramas of the 1940's and 50's, tells the story of a tightly knit group of residents who find themselves bound together for mutual aid and defence and all that that means for each of them in a hostile environment that can turn deadly at any moment. This well done series highlights different characters and different issues each week as events and characters come in and out of the plot. As the personalities of the characters are revealed over time within the series, we get to know and care about them the way the characters themselves care for one another. And as a side benefit, real historical events are portrayed accurately, so we actually can learn some REAL stuff!
