Reign of the CPA

N: In may of 2003, with Paul Bremer at its helm, the Coalition Provisional Authority set out to rebuild Iraq. This meant securing the country, rehabbing its shattered infrastructure, creating a government, and overseeing billions of dollars in civilian contracts. It also meant being the mouthpiece for Coalition forces. In this chapter, ?The Reign of the CPA,? journalists talk about their relationships with the authority. Here?s CBS?s Elizabeth Palmer
