Piece Description
Another year's gone, and the new year lies ahead. We all know what that means...Yup, New Year's resolutions! How about adding some eco-friendly resolutions to your list? Here are a few that you might consider: First, try walking to nearby destinations instead of driving. It'll be good for your health and the planet's. Second, when you go to the supermarket, put some canvas bags in your car and use them instead of paper or plastic. Next, trade your inefficient light bulbs in for compact fluorescent lamps. They'll save you money and reduce your energy use. Fourth, open up that solicitation from a conservation group, and join in community efforts to protect our planet. Then go to the park and give thanks for the green open spaces in your neighborhood. And finally, visit carbonneutral.com to measure your carbon footprint, and buy carbon offsets that support alternative energy development. This would be a great year to become carbon neutral! Now, those aren't too hard, are they? Happy New Year!
