Tejidos Culturales is a cultural series whose purpose is to bring more cultural awareness to Colorado's San Luis Valley. In this program we will look at the Taylor Ranch and how that effected the community of San Luis, which was part of the Sangre de Cristo Land Grant. After 40 years of struggle and being shut off from the mountain that insured survival in the harsh alpine desert of what is today Southern Colorado the community regained access to the mountain. But this is after the culture was changed forever.
