"To me there's, like, a potion... everything layers itself like a recipe." -Baltimore hip hop producer Ms Tris Beats
I've recently been putting together a series of little radio pieces about the idea of 'rhythm.' And in my wanderings i got the chance to spend an afternoon with a hip hop producer whose been making a name for herself in Baltimore and beyond. She's set herself up with a home studio, where she uses a desktop PC and an arsenal of mixers and keyboards to hand-craft powerful and original beats for up & coming MC's. She's definitely earned the right to her moniker: Ms. Tris Beats.
