Review of Tejidos Culturales #5 The Chicano Movment #2
One of my 10 year old students burst in the classroom door last week, thrilled that she had seen a Chicano protest march on the History Channel. This was the day after we had listened to this wonderful show, learning that much activism took place in our home valley.
Kudos to Sarah Parker, and to the political activists who helped to create the more open climate we are enjoying today.
