Compact Discoveries Program 11: "Radio Revisited"

A return to the yesteryears of radio, when a generation of Americans was introduced to classical music via the theme songs of "The Lone Ranger," "Sergeant Preston of the Yukon," "The Shadow" and other programs. Clips from the original radio programs show how the music was used. The music includes Rezniceck's "Donna Diana Overture," Rossini's "William Tell Overture" and Lizst's "Les Pr?ludes."
