This is a segment from a half hour special we did on Mesa Verde's Centennial Birthday. I toured Ute Mt. Tribal Park which butts up against Mesa Verde and is over two times as large. This piece has lots of sound from the tour - we had a great guide (Ute Mt. Ute tribal member) and fun tourists along. We learned a lot about the people once called Anasazis, now called Ancient Puebloans.

Review of Ute Mt. Tribal Park
A nice piece that gives the listener a glimpse into what they may experience when they visit the Ute Tribal park. I especially like the use of the live tour footage as it allows the listener to imagine themselves accompaning the guide into the canyon. The overall tone is much like a public television documentary. Neutral and devoid of an opinion but yet light and nonthreatening. While some historical background information is provided it really comes across as more of a spirtual message. Overall an easy listen.
